While I agree, I do think that the side stories could be pretty substantial.
they will be more like side stories and self contained stories and scenarios. They stated previously that the seasonal stuff wont ever advance the main story. You can tell just from how they set up the ending of the campaign that Mephisto is going to be back, and hes going to bring back his bros. Zero shot that we fight or see any of the prime evils (outside of a vision or some bs like the lillith pedals) until an expansion.
